I used foam poster board to make the hearts,
so they looked like the candy hearts that
have messages on them. Underneither each
heart there is a verse that went with the
message.
Harvest / Fall
The purpose
of this BB was to show our church the
evangelistic opportunites in our church and
community.
Spring
Spring BB that
I got from this website. I tweaked it a
little. I used floral/butterfly print
fabric.
We made a castle for our parade float, then
set it out in front of the church during the
week of VBS. It was a great advertisement
for VBS. We took pictures of the
kids sitting in the windows and gave them a
copy on the last night. Several ladies in
our church made the costumes- they were
fairly simple to make.
VBS
"Trailblazers" :
We turned a landscaping trailer into a
covered wagon for the parade float. The week
of VBS the canvas wagon cover, was arched
over the church steps. The front of the
church sanctuary was turned into a cowboys
camp site. The fire was made out of colored
cellophane, a light and small fan, which
made the fire look like it was dancing.
