July God Bless America

  August back to school
I got the idea of the August board from something similar on your website.

Student of Jesus

Here is my latest Bulletin Board. It is about being a student of Jesus. The apples are ways in which we can make that happen

General

"Be a S.T.A.R. (Stand True And Ready), Shine for Jesus"

Fall

photo of our Sunday School Classroom Door

Fall / Autumn

The poem says:

As the leaves fall from the trees, Lord
We fall on our knees in one accord
To praise Jesus Christ our Lord

I used a red vinyl table cloth for the background, Pieces of square Felt for the poem background. I found the 2 scarecrows at the Dollar Tree and the Fall leaves there as well. It was a big hit!

"Fall for Jesus"

for the Autumn Season

Jan-Feb 2009 Bulletin Board / Valentine

The verse I used was Collossians 2:2 "We are Knit Together in Love and Understanding"
I used a vinyl table cloth for my background, I hand crocheted the granny squares myself, I found the black letters and Pop Up Heart at The Dollar Tree, and I printed my verse out on my computer with size 45 Bold Font.  There are so many ways to make this Theme come to life. It reminds us that as a church family, we truly are KNIT TOGETHER.
Winter:
This is my new Winter Bulletin Board I did for church. The theme is "Whiter than Snow"  The total cost of the materials to make this was $3.26! I used a vinyl table clothe (which was so easy to work with) costing $1, giant snowflakes purchased 6 for $1, and snowflake ribbon for $1. Then, I took the Bible verses related to my theme and printed them out on my computer and cut them in cloud shapes.  "I find that simple bulletin boards are the best way to make a point."
Spring

Spring Jesus, Vinyl green table cloth for the background (this material is so easy to cut and fold), satin flowers for the corners, and pre-cut letters I found at the Dollar Store. Total cost of this bulletin was $6

Valentine's Theme

We Are Knit in Love: Collossons 2:2 I crocheted granny squares in Valentine colors, used a vinyl table clothe for my background (red) and bordered it with yarn. Total cost of this bulletin board was $5.00

Mother's Day
I used a green vinyl table cloth for the background, silk flowers and blue ribbon for the borders. I had the members of our Junior Church ages 3 to 12 to trace one of their hands on construction paper and write their names and age in the middle. I then traced them in black and cut them out and stapled them in decorative places. The Ladies loved it.
The Poem says:
'This not is just decoration as you can see
it was made with my hand
which is part of me
With this gift I want to say
I wish you a very special Mother's Day
from Junior Church

The total cost of this board was $8.00
Vacation Bible School  Hawaiian Theme
Our verse is Psalm 86:11.  I used satin flowers, lays and blue ribbon for the border and then vinyl table cloth for the background. VBS 2008 ALOHA letters I purchased at the Dollar Tree.

This is my 2008 Christmas Bulletin Board. I used the cotton white "snow" for a back board, Tinsel and gift wrapping bows for decorations. My Verse is John 3:16. This was a big hit this year.

Promises of God / Spring / Summer (original)

This bulletin board came to me while reading in Matthew. Matthew 5 3-10 It is simple, yet will teach our kids about the Promises of God. I used vinyl table cloth for the background and construction paper to frame each Beatitude. I also cut the butterflies and hearts out in construction paper. I simply printed the Beatitudes on the computer. I found the letters at the Dollar Tree. They have all colors.
