PLEASE NOTE:

Registering doesn't create your page for photos, you have to register then let me know if you want a page created for your photos because some people just register to browse and comment

 I will still have to set up your initial page like before but you will be in charge of uploading your photos to your page. You will be sent a username and password for your page (if you haven't registered yet) and you can change it at any time in the "My Account" link in the Login Menu.

1. Include any information you would like placed on your website:
Examples:

(you can copy and paste this section into your email and fill in your answers)

---> Your Name & username you used to register
---> Email address for questions
---> Short message or info about yourself
---> We would love to display a photo of you with your ideas so if you  have a photograph of yourself, send it in!
---> Favorite verse or Quote etc...

2. Let me know if you DO NOT want your email address put on your page for questions, otherwise you will have an e-mail link.

3. Your Photos may have a  www.BoardGalore.com logo placed on them.
This is for your protection. I'm sure like me you want credit for your hard work.

Photo Gallery Help

First of all make sure you are signed in to upload your photos.

Category folders are already created for you to add your photos to.

Contact me if you would like for me to add another category folder to your page.

BE SURE and click into the category folder you want your photos in otherwise they will appear in no category folder.

Click the "Upload" Tab (the upload tab won't show up if you are not logged in)

Java uploader: (disabled temporarily)
The Java uploader lets you upload many files at once but doesn't let you add descriptions or edit titles. If you already have your photos named what you want and don't want descriptions for them then the Java uploader works great.

You can always add your descriptions and instructions later via the image comment bubble under each photo.

 (As a side note, the Java uploader seems to work better in Internet Explorer than in Firefox. Others say it works fine for them in both. Just wanted to inform you of my experience with the uploader.)

Single File Upload:
If you want each of your photos to have a proper title and description or instructions, use the single file uploader. Giving your photo a proper title and description will make it easier for visitors to find your ideas. Make sure you have everything like you want it (example... spelling, wording etc....) before clicking the "upload" button, the only way to correct it right now is to re-upload the photo and type the description and title again. we will be working on this.

I really like what Alta McDaniel did with her descriptions, she uploaded her pictures with titles then added her description via the comment image bubble under each photo, this is very nice, I like that alot. This seems easier since you can go ahead and get your photos uploaded and add descritpion or instruction later.

As a good rule it is better to put short descriptions in the "description" box and long descriptions and instructions in the image comment bubble
